Seeking Truth
What Are the Guided Studies?
A Bible study on studying the Bible.
The Truth-Seeking Journey Guided Studies explore what Scripture itself teaches about seeking, recognizing, and understanding truth.
Rather than listing doctrines or telling you what conclusions to reach, these studies look at a different question:
What does the Bible teach us about how to seek truth well?
Through Scripture, we will examine why truth sometimes requires searching, why understanding may unfold over time, what can interfere with our ability to see clearly, and why humility and openness to correction matter.
Along the way, you'll also learn simple principles for reading Scripture more carefully, such as examining context, distinguishing observation from interpretation, recognizing assumptions and confirmation bias, comparing Scripture with Scripture, and allowing difficult passages to challenge rather than simply confirm what you already believe.
Most importantly, these studies recognize that Biblical truth-seeking is not merely an intellectual exercise. Scripture repeatedly points us back to our dependence upon God for wisdom and understanding.
The goal is not simply to accumulate Biblical knowledge.
You are learning how to seek.
